a few more LOs

I made this card for my Irish friend Elizabeth for St. Patricks Day... she and another one of our mates went down to Gilhooleys and enjoyed a glass of Guiness or two .. LOL
Lindy set a great challenge at the Cyber crop at SWV, a minimalistic decorated card of different size to a standard card..
Autumn tones was Sine's challenge, the subject of mine is the afore said tree, heralding in autumn with it's cloak of rich colours, some of the leaves are pink which is not a listed autumn shade,
well I'm off to pack ... we are heading to the gold coast tomorrow for an overnight stay...
so off to vote early, then away we go

another week flown by
Wendy is a friend who is winning the battle of breast cancer, I saw this photo of her in the purple wig and just had to scrap it for her, a very brave lady single Mum with 2 daughters in their later teens
this is my take on Sara's sketch on "Stuck?!" this week, go check the site, enter the fun and maybe win a great prize.
my take on the "Crafty Sketches" sketch challenge for this fortnight ... these beautiful photos were taken by Ness at the spring carnival of flowers in Toowoomba , I titled the layout "spring beauty". come on over check out the site, enter the challenge and maybe win some goodies. It has been a worrying time as my daughter, DJ, in Cairns did come down with dengue fever, she likened it to being knocked down by a runaway train, she was in a darkened room, couldn't eat anything was covered in a red rash like she had nappy rash all over& feeling absolutely exhausted , treatment is panadol, water and rest,She has managed to potter around the last few days & get some shopping done for their very busy household as there was a cyclone hovering off the coast however it has come further down the coast now and Cairns is sunny today
