days are a flying by

there are some great challenges on the scrap with v forum at present to help us get or keep our mojo flowing , DT member Kylie J set the first challenge of the month with a scraplift of a DT in the gallery, I chose a beautifully executed LO by DT Janine, hers is titled "love makes the world go round"

this is my take on her layout, titled "puppy love". the photo is of DGD Chloe & the family pet Jordie taken last month
In setting the colour challenge I chose the shades of neutral, kraft OR coffee , pink & cream,
while I am going through some older photos I found this cute pic of DGD Stevie -Renee taken on her 4th birthday... Stevie has a gap in her bottom teeth as she was born prematurely@ 28 weeks and had the two baby teeth which had to be removed on medical recommendation, so Stevie waited till she was 5.5 years to fill the gap.... her twin brother had no teething problems at birth LOL
another photo of Stevie taken when she was about 17 months, it has been fun rummaging through the older photos while some of them are not perfectly clear they are still part of a family story. this is a colour challenge at "scrapbudz" the colours being, white, pale green & burgundy

what a fantastic weekend we had at the SWV retreat on the "Sunshine Coast" so great to catch up with all the girls & what a champion Henry was.... he coped very well with a room full of scrappers and did some fab. work himself... Kerry gave us a class of two beautiful LOs, Jodi's class was a super little mini album, with lots of cut out flowers .. so whilst we were cutting she entertained us by making us balloon hats ... all with hilarious running commentary....

I have been playing in my scrap room completing some challenges this one is for the June sketch on the SWV forum the photo is of my grandson, Leigh, I haven't journalled as I am not sure where or why the pic was taken



black with 2 challenge for June is: blue & cream with butterflies, this photo is of my grandchildren, twins Leigh & Stevie when they were approx. 2 years old.....


White with 1 challenge is red with brackets... gotta love these sox.... LOL
