been busy

Have been a little busy of late ... Son Andrew Ness & the girls have moved house & business
Many cardboard boxes & much wrapping paper later & a week later .....they are in...
& they are now establishing it into a comfortable home for them
& re- setting up the business in the garage.....

I have however had time to play , here are a few layouts to share
As a member of the Creative Team at "Crafty Sketches.... " Sunkissed" is my take on Wendy's
Sketch..... It is great fun being on the team with very talented ladies who have many different ideas & styles from which we can all learn, & we all have a chance to create a sketch..... something I have never done so looking forward to my turn....

"sweet you" is my entry into the black with two challenge for this month
"my dream" is my take on the white with one challenge

I am also on the CT for "Stuck!?"another team of talented scrap bookers, I am enjoying my time
here as well .. "Under the Arches" is my take on last weeks sketch

A sad week for all Australians , the bush fires in Victoria are devastating & 62% of Queensland flooded is unbelievable, so many sad stories , one can't even imagine how it would be, to the" firies" , CFS, DFC, all volunteers I say Thank you for your bravery & dedication.
To all affected by the floods and fires my prayers are with you and your families.

my take on the 123_ challenge This cane farm is at the foothills of Mt. Whitfield in Cairns, I just loved the old table , and can only imagine the stories that have been told whilst sitting around it

My dear friends Elizabeth & Col have moved to London for 2 years this pic was taken 200 metres up the road from where they live. They are standing beside the memorial to the winners of the World Cup, 1966, West Ham. Col couldn't get to work during the last snow falls... he's a teacher, school was cancelled... They reckon it's a bit chilly :)

1st week of February.. nearly gone

I just cannot believe it .... the first week of February gone by ....
I have been helping Andrew & Vanessa pack up house....
yep the house they were renting is SOLD....
now they're house hunting.......8)
Had a few phone calls from my daughter in Cairns...
it virtually hasn't stopped raining since I left...
every thing feels damp.. however not as wet as the people
to the south in Ingham or to the west....
