what a thrill

Yesterday I fortunate enough to go on a joy flight in a Trojan T-28
this came about as DH Ken won it as a prize in a raffle, he was not at all well so couldn't fly...
disappointing for him ... however for me......  it was awesome .....
I soo enjoyed the 20minutes in the air at about 41/2 thousand feet over the ranges and surrounding areas in Toowoomba ...
I was so excited I left my camera on the ground .... so no pics from up there in the wild blue yonder

after we landed I wanted to go straight back up again     I just loved it ...... so now have another burning desire to fly in another vintage plane .....

unexpected visitor

I was playing away in my scrap room the other night ... when I felt someone/ something was watching

I raised my eyes and here He was .......

sitting quitely gazing through  the window..... I haven't seen a green frog around our house in a long time
isn't he cute ....
I had a lovely day today met up with the girls KylieJ, Phillipa, Lindy & Debbie for coffee at Woody point,
it was a very hot day... with a nice breeze blowing across the water...

back from holidays

I had a wonderful break for 9 days in Sydney
great fun ..  love Sydney town
went to a Melbourne Cup Luncheon
had a weekend in Katoomba ... loved it
was a typical tourist ..... veiwing the Three Sisters
& enjoyed the scenic train


Scrap with V Cyber Crop was on last weekend so
have had fun in my playroom since I arrived home and completed the challenges
DT only Challenge... criteria
1. technique featured on the SWV blog... coloured lace
2. 3. different ribbons...., lace, mesh ribbon & woven ribbon
3. NO flowers
4. A bird .. rub on on acetate
5.  heavily distressed ... my patterned paper was scrunched wet, torn &  ironed :)
