MAGNOLIA LANE ...

Hello, thanks for visiting, 

 last Sunday I had a wonderful morning creating with the 

delicious MAGNOLIA LANE papers designed by Sue Smyth
for COUTURE CREATIONS

Sue was teaching us at my LSS BELLA PAPERIE to make the cutest mini album
where the Magnolia Lane papers, dies & goodies are available 

It was an excellent day in wonderful company. 

Sue had been kind enough to cut most of it into kit form 

COVERS 

we covered our pre-cut chip board covers in  the script paper , added the black lace 

& then shown all the different techniques to paint the frame, the die cut leaves, sugared flower and glistening magnolia centre piece& our tie dyed ribbon ..

I used black cardstock throughout to mount the sentiments & pictures, 

my butterflies are punched, & inked in pink olive & tipped with gold, 

the black lace is from the kit ties & pink flowers & pink tipped leaves from my stash

A little bird flying home

tied with a black bow ready for the photo

a sparkly butterfly added some bling

I cut the image from the frame & added some sparkle & shine

centered & adhered to the black mount, 

3D mounted the frame over & trimmed with pearls

tiny bit of glisten on the magnolia 

& tags cut from scraps ..

Popped the centre from the die cut tassel ( isn't it divine) 

slightly inked in pink then glistened & sparkled.

Painted the outer in gold paint 

added some pearls to enhance. 

  I know have a confession to make .. 

because I can't help myself it turned out a bit lump bumpy with my embellies 

so I had to add a spine .. 

fortunately this wasn't a difficult task .. 

I so love this little album, the beautiful papers
