CSI #16 & # 17

have been a bad blogger this past week... so will have to do a catch up .. bear with me 

CSI case file #16 

was in very pretty shades of pinks, raspberry&  pale grey

I chose to do a LO of my friend Wendy .. 

this photo was taken by a mutual friend Bronwyn Hawkins who is a brilliant photographer 

she captured this wonderful pic of Wendy  
at our Be Uplifted Inc. "Tea & Tiara" fundraiser

Wendy is a breast cancer survivor of 4 years & co founder of the charity which raises monies to assist women who are facing their breast cancer journey ...

 'Spirited'

She danced along in gay abandon beneath the sunny skies,

the branch bowed low across her path in front of her shining eyes

she stopped; an inspiration hit ...

this would be a wonderful place to rest a little bit 

in the cooling shade beneath the tree away from the heat of the sun

although for her 

still filled with boundless energy rest and quiet did not come.
