Hello all, today I'm sharing two LOs using

the BIKES & COGS collection

CHARITY RIDE

I knew when I saw these papers I wanted to share of a special friend Karen, 

she is a 'biker babe' and rides for numerous charity events 

this ride however was  special for us

we belong to a breast cancer charity 

BE UPLIFTED inc

we assist women & their families on a breast cancer journey 

with some of their out-of-pocket expenses 

This is the start of a ride to raise monies for just that cause... 

design is based on a sketch from

 trimmed down edges of ... 

distressed & inked in brown 

cut pieces from... 

cut labels....

inked cogs in brown & black with touches of teal to age 

cut clock ... 

layered paper, chippy cog & metal cogs & clock 

velvet flowers softens the look keeping it a touch feminine 

another label, more metal & a touch of pink velvet

LETS RIDE

I fussy cut around the cogs from ..Cogs on Stripes.... P6376

joined through the centre on white cardstock

trimmed 1cm off right edge & added ..Cogs on Stripes .P6376...

cut out a few labels .. Bikes  P6378

painted cogs grey inked in black 

popped a banner across the top 

into my hubby's shed & gathered washers, nuts & screws 

a key, clock & crown add to the stack 

rusty nut, metal frame of bike workings, more metal with a few flowers

 completes the picture

I'm sure you'll agree these papers look fabulous as a biker page boy or girl
