great time away...

Had a wonderful weekend away with Ness, Shannon & Chloe,as we couldn't go to the retreat in Gunnedah we decided to have our own ....
so we loaded the car with lots of scrappy gear & a few clothes ...
off we went to the Shearwater Resort on Kings Beach at Caloundra ....
this is where Ness holds the SWV retreats .. which are always lots of fun ....
I managed to complete quite a few LOs  & cards for various challenges ...
we were joined by Andrew on Saturday evening , he watched sport & the election polls
we scrapped LOL !!!!
I took the girls down to the water's edge at dusk for photo shoot ....

It was getting a little dark however I love how the pics turned out .... getting them to hold hands was hilarious ... they are touching fingers LOL !!! good heaven's they each might have germs LOL!!!!

DGD Charlie was so delighted with her birthday gift from 'Uncle Les' , he gave her a motorised jeep in hot pink. An absolute hit with all the kids big & small LOL!!!

the title says it all, Charlie really is a  ' lil' Miss ' , this pic was taken whilst we were on a picnic in Cairns.
The water was crystal clear & quite cool however swimming was a must ... LOL ...
